A good rule of thumb is that what ever surface points up will have the most removed from it. My tip is to go online and look at some real patina to guide your work. It sounds that simple because it really is! You need to sand everything away that shouldn’t be there. How To Fake A Patina? Remove Everything That’s Not Patina! So at that moment I know I would be giving the truck a fake patina to try and save myself the time and headache of a respray paint job. Score! White and blue are perfect together.
